Closeness to Jenness Park - up to 40 points. The biggest factor. Under 40 miles scores full points, stepping down with distance.
Past connection to Word of Life - up to 25. Been to Jenness Park = 25, gave or has a contact on file = 15, no history = 0.
Churches nearby - up to 20. More churches within 15 miles means fuller, more efficient routes.
Church type - up to 15. Baptist/SBC = 15, community and non-denominational = 10, other evangelical = 7, unknown = 5, mainline = 3.

Green dots = JP Backyard (proposed) - verified churches in the camp's own neighborhood, outside all four corridors. Most have been to Jenness Park before. How these get contacted is still an open decision.
How we got here, in plain terms:
We started with old lists. Churches that have been to Jenness Park, giving records from 2014, a 2019 youth-camp contact list, and the SBC California directory. 2,765 churches total, but most of the contact info was 10+ years old.
We checked every one against the live web. Real websites, phone numbers, and street addresses. Nothing gets called "verified" unless two independent sources agree, and every address was checked against government records that it actually exists.
A lot of the old info did not survive. Wrong numbers, churches that moved, some that closed. We kept what proved out and flagged the rest instead of guessing. So a "verified" church on this map is current, not recycled.
Then every church got ranked (tap "Ranking & route key" for the formula) and the four corridors got routes. Ten churches per team per day, four days, best verified churches first. Solid dots with a dark ring are on a route today. Hollow dots are still being verified, and that number grows every week.
The funnel: 2,765 on the master list → ~900 inside the four corridors → 427 verified and routed (or ranked backups) today → 90 more that are one phone call away.
